Legal Literacy - We believe that legal understanding is an intellectual right of every citizen. It is a compass that guides us in navigating society, as well as a shield that protects our rights. Starting from this fundamental belief, Indonesian Legal Literacy we officially founded on January 11, 2023.

We are here not just as a news portal. We are a learning space, a bridge that we build with the determination to connect the complexities of the legal world with the reality of your life. Through this page, we want to tell you about our journey—a story about vision, collaboration, and the people behind the scenes who dedicate themselves to you.

Starting from a Spark of Awareness

Every great movement starts from a spark of awareness. For us, that spark came from the founder of Indonesian Legal Literacy, Adam Ilyas, S.H. His experience growing up in Sidoarjo, East Java, gave him a lens to see firsthand how legal information gaps can create vulnerability and injustice.

He honed that awareness into intellectual ammunition while studying at the Faculty of Law, National Development University "Veteran" East Java. Then, he sharpened it with a practical perspective while dedicating himself to the Constitutional Court. These two worlds—theory and practice—became his main provision for giving birth to a platform that is not only academically intelligent, but also relevant and down-to-earth.
