Advantages of Using the Electronic Justice System (E-Court)
- Cost-effective, where by litigating electronically, the costs incurred will be less. Summonses will be delivered according to the registered electronic domicile.
- Time-saving, where through e-court, the time required to register a case, pay case fees, and the time for trial will be more efficient and flexible.
- Preventing illegal levies, where with the Electronic Justice System (E-Court), the intensity of face-to-face interaction between judicial apparatus and court service users will be reduced, thus decreasing illegal levies. Because, it can almost be ascertained that levies outside of those listed in the e-court are illegal levies.
- Multi-channel payment, where in order to facilitate the management of case fee payments, state-owned banks, such as: BRI, BTN, Bank Mandiri, BNI, and BSI provide virtual accounts as a means of payment to the Court where the case is registered. The existence of a virtual account will make it easier to make case fee payments.
- Proper archiving, where your data that has been uploaded to the Electronic Justice System (E-Court) will be stored in the case tracking information system (SIPP) which is integrated with the Electronic Justice System (E-Court).
- Transparent, where the Electronic Justice System (E-Court) allows for interaction between parties and the Panel of Judges in the context of open case examination that can be seen by all parties in the case. Decisions from all courts in the four judicial environments can be accessed by anyone. This is a form of transparency and accountability, especially in terms of the decision.
