Electronic Justice System (E-Court)

The Electronic Justice System (E-Court) is a service for Registered Users for online Case Registration where they get an Estimated Advance of Case Fees, payments and Summonses carried out electronically. The Electronic Justice System (E-Court) is designed as a means and infrastructure that aims to reduce case costs because the trial process is carried out electronically, both for summons costs, attendance at trial to answer, evidence and listen to the reading of the verdict.

The services available on the E-Court application include e-Filing (Online Case Registration at the Court), e-Payment (Online Advance Payment of Case Fees) and e-Summons (Summoning Parties bravely). In the case of online case registration, there are two categories: 1) Registered Users and 2) Other Users, where Advocates are Registered Users and Justice Seekers (Non-Advocates) are Other Users.

The legal basis regarding the Electronic Justice System (E-Court) is stated in Supreme Court Regulation Number 7 of 2022 concerning Amendments to Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2019 concerning Administration and Proceedings in Court Electronically.

This regulation is based on the provisions in Article 2 paragraph (4) of Law Number 48 of 2009 concerning Judicial Power which states that: "The court helps to seek justice and tries to overcome all obstacles and obstacles in order to achieve a simple, fast and low-cost trial." The Electronic Justice System (E-Court) was formed with the aim of simplifying court proceedings so as to achieve a simple, fast and low-cost trial which is a demand of the times.

In the Electronic Justice System (E-Court), e-Litigation is known, namely trials carried out electronically where there are trial documents, including: 1) Lawsuit, 2) Answer, 3) Reply, 4) Duplication and 5) Conclusions submitted electronically. In the Electronic Justice System (e-Court), there is an e-Copy which is a system that provides information about the Verdict, including: 1) Date of verdict, 2) Verdict, and 3) Date of minutes.
