JAKARTA, Legal Literacy - Intelligence Reform and Innovation Task Force (SIRI) Prosecution Agung secured Hariyono (69), a corruption fugitive who was on the Wanted List of the Jombang District Attorney's Office. Hariyono was secured at Sofie Residence Housing, Purwasari District, Friday, January 23, 2026.
The Head of the Legal Information Center of the Attorney General's Office, Anang Supriatna, stated that Hariyono has convict status based on the Supreme Court's decision. The arrest was made after the person concerned had not complied with the execution summons of the court's decision for a long time.
“The Team SIRI Task Force managed to secure the convict Hariyono, S.Pd. who was on the Wanted List from the Jombang District Attorney's Office regarding a corruption case,” said Anang Supriatna.
Supreme Court Decision Number 1971 K/Pid.Sus/2012
Hariyono's convict status refers to the Supreme Court Decision Number 1971 K/Pid.Sus/2012. In the decision, Hariyono was declared legally and convincingly guilty of committing a criminal act of corruption in the management of grant funds sourced from the Jombang Regency APBD.
This act resulted in state financial losses of Rp 277,115,000. The Supreme Court imposed the following penalties:

Imprisonment: Four years.

Fine: IDR 200,000,000.

Subsidiary: Imprisonment for four months if the fine is not paid.
The convict's identity is recorded as being born in Jombang, male, Indonesian citizen, and a retired civil servant. The last recorded address is at Jalan Griya Indah Blok 5 Number 5, Jombang Regency, East Java.
Convict Surrender Process
Anang Supriatna explained that during the security process, the convict was cooperative, so the activity ran safely and smoothly. The convict was then taken to be handed over to the Executor Prosecutor of the Jombang District Attorney's Office to undergo the court decision execution process.
"The person concerned was cooperative so that the security process went well and was then handed over to the Executor Prosecutor of the Jombang District Attorney's Office," said Anang.
Anang emphasized that the Attorney General had instructed all ranks to continue to monitor and immediately arrest fugitives for legal certainty. The Attorney General also appealed to all fugitives on the Wanted List to surrender. According to him, there is no safe place for fugitives to hide from the legal process.
