1. What is a Train Porter?

A worker who provides baggage transport services, or more commonly known to the public as a Porter, is someone who is authorized by the company, namely PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), to provide passenger baggage transport services in the railway station environment https://recruitment.kai.id/lowongan

Porters work in the railway station environment wearing uniforms complete with their respective names and identity numbers with PORTER written on them, along with the name of the company PT. Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero).

2. Train Porter's Duties

The duty of porters at railway stations is not only to provide passenger baggage transport services, but also as officers who provide services to train passengers by providing information regarding train departures and facilities at the railway station, as well as paying respects to departing trains with other employees.
