Legal Literacy - Discourses regarding administrative violations in companies are often discussed by workers. This is because many entrepreneurs and companies make mistakes, especially in administrative activities. Therefore, entrepreneurs must pay attention to these matters, so that it will not be easy for them to be sued by their workers in the future.

Types of Administrative Violation Sanctions

As for administrative sanctions, they usually take the form of:

reprimand;
written warning;
restriction of business activities;
freezing of business activities;
cancellation of approval;
cancellation of registration;
temporary suspension of part or all of the production equipment;
license revocation.

In addition to administrative sanctions, there are also criminal acts of administrative violations, and these are divided into 2 criminal acts, namely:

Criminal Acts

Anyone who employs children in the worst forms of work will be sanctioned with imprisonment for a minimum of 2 (two) years and a maximum of 5 (five) years and/or a fine of a minimum of Rp 200,000,000.00 (two hundred million rupiah) and a maximum of Rp 500,000,000.00 (five hundred million rupiah).
Entrepreneurs who do not guarantee mandatory old age security in accordance with statutory regulations will be subject to criminal sanctions of imprisonment for a minimum of 1 (one) year and a maximum of 5 (five) years and/or a fine of a minimum of Rp 100,000,000.00 (one hundred million rupiah) and a maximum of Rp 500,000,000.00 (five hundred million rupiah).

Employer who employs foreigners without permits, employs children, shows no time tolerance towards workers' religion, pays below the minimum wage, obstructs workers/labor unions in their right to strike, fails to pay severance pay is subject to a criminal sanction of imprisonment for a minimum of 1 (one) year and a maximum of 4 (four) years and/or a fine of a minimum of Rp 100,000,000.00 (one hundred million rupiah) and a maximum of Rp 400,000,000.00 (four hundred million rupiah).
