Jakarta, Legal Literacy - Entering the second day of the legislative election result dispute registration period, not a single party has filed a dispute over the 2024 General Election results. Until Friday (22/3/2024) at 18.00 WIB, the Constitutional Court had only received eight registrants as prospective legislative members, both prospective members of the DPR/DPRD and prospective members of the DPD.
Parties and Legislative Candidates Expected to Utilize the Last Day
It is expected that political parties and legislative candidates will utilize the last day, Saturday (23/3/2024), to submit dispute petitions.
Eight Legislative Candidates Registered
Among the eight registered legislative candidates, there are Nurmiati La Abusaleh, who is a candidate for DPRD of Central Maluku from the Central Maluku Electoral District 3, who comes from the National Mandate Party (PAN); Abrianto, who is a candidate for DPRD of South Sumatra from the Muara Enim Electoral District 5; Ronny Bara Pratama, a candidate for DPRD of DKI Jakarta; Sungkono, who is an incumbent DPR member from PAN for the DPR seat from the East Java I Electoral District; Rio Valentino Palilingan, a candidate for DPRD of Minahasa; and Masturo, a candidate for DPRD of North Musi Rawas.
